Five Little Birds

I love the whimsy that the feathers add to these birds. When I made them I cut a front piece for the front and back of the body. The feathers are glued in-between and the edges stitched down.

There was one little bird in the one little tree,
He was so alone and didn’t want to be.
So he flew far away, over the sea,
And brought back a xxx bird to live in the tree.

Now there are two little birds in the one little tree
They were so alone and didn’t want to be.
So they flew far away, over the sea,

Now there are five little birds in the one little tree,
They were not alone anymore, they were a family.
