This flannel board story is based on the book “Dog’s Colorful Day” by Emma Dodd. I found a pattern for the dog on ALA’s website to accompany the book “Storytime Magic” by Kathy MacMillan and Christine Kirker. The black ear spot is sewn on. All the spots can be washed off at the very end.
